Reports of attempts by Russian hackers to influence the outcome of the 2016 American presidential election have dominated news stories for the past few weeks. Although the president-elect denies this story, many in Washington are taking these actions seriously. The Slant has received word that these breaches of cyber security may not be over. Now, the government is worried these same hackers could be seeking to compromise college student media organizations.
