God Realizes He’s No Longer Most Creative Being in Heaven

Heaven, 10:07 a.m. – Following the death of music icon Prince on Thursday morning, God came to the realization that he is no longer the most creative being in heaven. The epiphany came when Prince–a seven-time Grammy winner with over 100 million albums sold worldwide–showed up at the heavenly gates.

“I may have created the Earth in six days,” God said in an official statement, “but I never could have written ‘Purple Rain.’”

Sources report that God was later seen placing himself at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. When the late rocker saw this, he simply smirked and continued playing his guitar.
